‘Abu-Ghazaleh for Technology’ and Palestinian-based ‘Up Edutec’ Sign Exclusive Partnership Agreement
To widely distribute TAGTech devices in Palestine
AMMAN – Talal Abu-Ghazaleh for Technology (TAGTech), a member of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global Digital (TAG.GD) and a pioneering Jordanian company in manufacturing and producing technological products, has signed a strategic partnership agreement with the Palestinian-based Up-Edutec company to become the exclusive partner for distributing and marketing TAGTech devices, including various series of mobiles, laptops and tablets devices.
The signing was held under the patronage and in the presence of HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, TAG.GD founder and chairman, but was signed by Mr. Loay Abu-Osbeh, TAGTech Sales executive director, and Mr. Bader Al-Hudhud, Up- Edutec general manager.
During the signing ceremony, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh expressed his pride in such collaboration as part of TAG.GD’s ongoing commitment towards supporting Palestine and its people in the education and technology domains, reaffirming his deep belief in the potential of Palestinian youth and their fundamental right to access cutting-edge technology that enables them to pursue their aspirations and effectively contributes to the development of their communities.
Mr. Abu-Osbeh stated that this agreement would positively enhance the presence of TAGTech brand in the Palestinian market, noting that these devices are specially designed and manufactured for education and digital development, which would make a real difference in the learning journey of students and educational institutions.
For his part, Mr. Al-Hudhud expressed his gratitude and appreciation for Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh, recognizing his unwavering support to the Palestinian people, saying: “We highly appreciate your commitment to advancing and developing education in Palestine, and the impactful support for building Palestinians’ capacities”. He affirmed that this agreement represents a cornerstone for a strategic partnership aimed at effectively empowering the next generation with tools for innovation and knowledge.
Pursuant to the agreement, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was also signed to strengthen cooperation in areas such as digital training, e-learning transformation, the provision of professional and academic certifications, and adherence to the requirements of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Quality Assurance in Education. The MoU will also support the TAG.GD’s STEM and digital transformation programs.
This step comes in line with the TAG.GD’s strategy, which aims at empowering communities through digital transformation and promoting educational innovation, especially in Arab countries seeking to build sustainable knowledge-based economies.
